Modern Reformation's Piece on Non-6 Day Creation Answered

In the May/June 2010 issue of Modern Reformation magazine, there was an article titled "PCA Geologists on the Antiquity of the Earth." Answers in Genesis has posted both a summary response as well as a longer response to this piece. I encourage you to read them. I also encourage you to write to the editor of Modern Reformation Magazine expressing your opinion on their article.

  1. I saw your link on PB and very much appreciated it. As one of virtually all Scripturalists banned from PB, I would strong recommend you read Gordon Clark's, Philosophy of Science and Belief in God (http://www.trinitylectures.org/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=127). I believe once Christians have a better grasp of what science is they will be much better equipped in refuting those who would confuse science as a means of discovering truth.

Thanks again for posting the AiG piece.

  2. Sean, thanks for the kind words. I have not yet read Clark, but have a feeling I will eventually have to. Thanks for the recommendation.

  3. If God creating instant trees with rings - 'apparent age' - is problematic (assuming no evidence of forest fires pre-4000BC), isn't creating an instant adult Adam and Eve also by necessity problematic? Wouldn't their physical/biological structures 'indicate history'? It seems the stand of the eight PCA geologists leaves more questions than it answers.
